Dear Parents and Swimmers
QLSC was recently awarded a sports equipment grant through the Queanbeyan City Council for the purchase of much needed training equipment; two underwater clocks and two GoPro’s.
On the 3 October The Queanbeyan Age published an article outlining how this equipment will be used to support all swimmers of QLSC.

The Burley Griffin Qualifying Carnival held on Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 October not only saw members of QT Swim Club achieve individual PB’s, Qualifying Times for NSW Country and NSW State Age but then they backed this up with an outstanding team effort in the 200m Free & 200m Medley relay’s to win the following

Congratulations to Claire Molineux and Andrew Catchpole for being the first girl and boy to complete the challenge set for Senior A Squad members, to swim 100km over 12 sessions from Saturday 4 October – Saturday 11 October. Awesome Effort.

There will be no training on the following days due to public holidays and qualifying meets
Monday 29 September – Public Holiday
Monday 6 October – Public Holiday
Saturday morning 11 October – BG Qualifying Meet
Saturday morning 1 November – Telopea Qualifying Meet
For Senior B Squad members only.
There will be no afternoon training at Queanbeyan pool next week (29 Sept to 3 Oct). Morning training will be as usual.
Instead there will be a stroke camp 3 pm – 5 pm Monday to Friday at Girls Grammar similar to last year.
