Last Club Night and Cupcake Fundraiser

Dear swimmers and parents
Just a reminder that QLSC will be hosting the last club night and fundraising activity this coming Wednesday 10 February 2016.
A gold coin donation, wear anything pink, and help support a worthwhile cause.  There will be special pink cupcakes for sale at $1.00 each along with jelly cups and the usual yummy bbq fair.
PARENTS
There will be a register for any families that require a receipt for donations over $2.00.
If there is any family that would like to assist in donating cupcakes for this night or for the next club night please provide a return email to this address by COB Tuesday 9 February 2016 your support would be greatly appreciated.

NSW Junior Sharks Squad – Brad Rauter

Congratulations to Brad Rauter who has been selected for the NSW Junior Sharks Squad.  His selection was based on his outstanding performance at NSW State Age 10 years – Under 12 years where he was required to achieve certain times for events.  Brad will participate in three development sessions over the next 12 months an opportunity to meet new people, work with different coaches and learn new skills.

Well Done Brad – QLSC is proud of you.

Come and join us at the beautiful grounds of the Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre and be part of the inaugural QLSC Short Course Carnival.

Entries Close 29/02/2016 at 10pm.

Saturday 5th March – SC Qualifying Carnival

With a program of 100m, 200m and 400m events,  Saturday presents a great opportunity for swimmers to set some Short Course times early in the season.

Saturday events are open to registered swimmers ONLY.

Sunday 6th March – Sprint Carnival ( with “Come and Try” 25m events)

Sunday is a sprint day with a great opportunity for swimmers of all abilities to participate. This day has no qualifying times so if you would like to try racing for the first time, there is information below on how to enter.

The events listed are those open to both registered and non- registered swimmers.

NSW Country Regional Meet – Wagga 9 & 10 January 2016

QLSC had a small contingent of swimmers travel to Wagga Wagga to participate in the NSW Country Regional Meet 9 & 10 Januyar 2016.

Alex Rushton, Chloe Rushton, Kiara Virgo and Tom McIntosh.  All swimmers had a wonderful time with some good PB’s.  Check out the photo’s with Geoff Huegill.
