Queanbeyan Leagues Swimming Club is running a twilight meet on 10 and 11 February 2017 as one of the last opportunities to qualify for 2017 NSW Country Championships, so come and race under the stars as they will at the next Commonwealth Games.
The meet will be over two evenings starting on Friday 10th February 2017 from 5.45pm to @ 9.15pm, then Saturday 11th February 2017 5.45pm to @ 9.15pm. The program offers 100m, 200m and a 400m event with qualifying times, and also includes 50m events that have no qualifying times, so Development level swimmers will also have the opportunity to participate.

All squads will cease training on Friday 23 December for the Christmas break and training will recommence on Tuesday 3 January 2017.
QLSC is again holding a Club night program over the summer season. Club nights are a great chance for families to get to know each other and for the swimmers to learn\practice racing with the people that they train with. It is a great relaxed setting with a BBQ every club night.
When: 6pm 26th October 2016 ( fortnightly Wednesday’s until Xmas – See calendar link below)
Where: Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre
Cost: Free for members, or invited guests
Family members are encouraged to come and support their swimmers by helping on the night. Family members are requested to assist in the conduct of club nights and an experienced committee member will be on hand for guidance. The roles do not require expertise or detailed knowledge, just a willingness to help.

Please find below information regarding QLSC and Telopea squad training arrangements for the upcoming School Holidays.
In preparation for the summer season the coaches are conducting a skills week in the 2nd week of this coming school holidays.
Week 1 – Saturday the 24th September till Saturday 1st October
Normal training times
Queanbeyan Pool – Distance program focus
Girls Grammar Pool – Challenge Week – Open to all advanced and senior swimmers – 12 sessions 100+ Kilometres.
Week 2 – Skills Week – Tuesday the 4th October to Friday the 7th October
Training times – Morning – As per Usual – at all Pools
No Afternoon training at Queanbeyan
ANNUAL SKILL WEEK (4-7 Oct)
All swimming levels are invited to attend. Returning swimmers (QLSC and Telopea) for the summer season are also welcome.
TIME: Session will be from 3PM TO 5PM
