On the weekend of the 10 & 11 January 2015 Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre along with QLSC hosted one of three NSW Country Regional Meets. Whilst it was a wet and wild weekend, all competitors enjoyed themselves with some great times achieved. Without the support of all our volunteers it would not have been the success it was, QLSC thanks you. The below is a thank you letter from the Deputy Mayor and please check out our photo’s in the gallery.
Dear Di.Thank you for your letter to the Mayor and the kind words contained therein.
It was a pleasure to play a small part in this exciting event that clearly everyone enjoyed. In regards to the competitors many are destined for greater things. Interestingly many of those I spoke to expressed how were proud they were of their club and their club friends in attendance. They all loved the opportunity to have a chat.
I close by expressing my thanks to you as Event Coordinator for such an efficiently organised and calmly run programme. To me it looked like a Mini Olympics. Please pass on my thanks and congratulations to all concerned for this success.
Queanbeyan was honoured to be chosen as a host venue. Hopefully all visitors had an opportunity to experience some of Queanbeyan’s many attributes within the limited time available.
Wishing you all the best in the future.
