September School Holidays – Training and Annual Skill week

Please find below information regarding QLSC and Telopea squad training arrangements for the upcoming School Holidays.

In preparation for the summer season the coaches are conducting a skills week in the 2nd week of this coming school holidays.

Week 1 –  Saturday the 24th September till Saturday 1st October

Normal training times

Queanbeyan Pool  – Distance program focus

Girls Grammar Pool  – Challenge Week –  Open to all advanced and senior swimmers – 12 sessions 100+ Kilometres.

Week 2 – Skills Week –  Tuesday the 4th October to Friday the 7th October

Training times – Morning – As per Usual – at all Pools

No Afternoon training at Queanbeyan



All swimming levels are invited to attend. Returning swimmers (QLSC and Telopea) for the summer season are also welcome.

TIME: Session will be from 3PM TO 5PM

Dear Swimmers and Parents
There will be no training for Sub Senior, Senior A & B this coming Saturday morning  due to the two day Qualifying Meet being at the AIS.
Training will resume Monday 20 June 2016.

Dear Parents & Swimmers
Due to the Tuggeranong Qualifying Meet being held at the AIS this coming weekend, Saturday & Sunday, there will be no training on Saturday morning 28 May 2016.

Change of day – Dry Landing Training

Dear Parents and Swimmers
Due to unforeseen circumstances that arose late this afternoon, dry land training has been cancelled and will now be held on a Wednesday afternoon instead of a Tuesday afternoon.
Dry Land training for Senior A & B Squads will be on a Wednesday afternoon from 4.30pm – 5.15pm.  Normal swim training will follow
The session will be held on the grassed area out the front of the pool and swimmers are requested to bring:
    .    Skipping Rope
    .    Mat or Towel
    .    Drink Bottle
    .    Appropriate footwear must be worn
